Patty Dumplin is a nationally recognised and award-winning comedy character created and acted by Lisa Jackson. Initially, Patty Dumplin was commissioned by one of the UK's biggest heart charities - the British Heart Foundation (BHF) for its 'Hearts and Minds' awareness programme targeted at Nottingham's Black and African Caribbean communities 2012-15.
Patty Dumplin adopted the title Heart Saviour. Since 2012 Patty Dumplin has become a popular and effective tool for a range of health awareness promotions throughout diverse communities across the UK. The character is a celebration and legacy of the Windrush generation and can be engaged to educate or simply entertain audiences. Clients also include the NHS, Self Help Uk, Rampton Prison, Bright Ideas Nottingham, BME Cancer Communities, Nottingham Trent University, and 97.5 Kemet FM
